Prepping for social distance

Last week, we realized that social distancing was about to become our new reality. We knew schools were thinking about closing and then just were – it wasn’t really sudden, but it felt sudden. We have been prepping ourselves mentally and we were buying all the things we’d need (or thought we needed). The most important thing would be food. I know for a lot of people, the most important thing seemed to be toilet paper, but for us it was sustenance. I had to come up with a long-term meal plan – for a family that plans their meals 3 days at a time. eek.

Tea, coffee – the good half-n-half and the ultra-pasteurized stuff to have after the good stuff’s gone. For a family that cooks everyday, it was really tough to get passed planning for tea and coffee. We’re all scared.
